they have no idea what they're talking about...as you may have noticed.
Come from nobodies. Let's see: Ranked teams 5-15 in women's are "mediocre" -- which, by the way, is a complete overstatement; bottom 100 in men's are. . . .exactly what?
They strive to achieve mediocrity.
And others on this Board are wholly incapable of recognizing the incredible achievements of Muffett. Two NCs, the last of which with 4 players out, including an AA center. How many Final Fours? And that matches up with Brey's ??????
18 years on the job, and he loses to Radford. And some on the Board belittle real achievement. Color my face blue.

basketball is even competitive is a joke . Look at some of the score differentials between say a number 1 through 4 team and a number 10 through whatever team when they play. Women are not getting rich going to the WNBA so they value a degree more and because of this ND attracts. Watch when the NCAA tourney comes this year there may be 4 games in the mens' that are blowouts whereas the women will have blowouts all the way to the elite 8 and possibly more.
there can never be a great women's bball coach because basically anybody could coach and get incredible results at the schools that attract top recruits.
no doubt women play a different game than men. if that weren't true, there would be no separation - they'd all play against each other. but taking a team that's missing 80% of it's starting lineup, customizing strategies to fit what's left, and winning a national championship is incredible, intelligent, inspirational coaching.
that's muffet. i seriously don't think any men's coach, including coach 'k' and/or his peers, could have done that at any level.
