After falling behind 26-7 early, Notre Dame played them dead even up until the last minute of the game, 52-52, and it wound up 57-54 Duke.
Hey, you gotta find something.
Of course this is a poor-shooting team, but they time after time pass up good shots to take poor ones. Although, I find this to be an epidemic in college basketball.

Painful to watch. I feel bad for John Mooney, who is carrying this bunch.
Can't wait until the '30 for 30' some day that exposes how Duke sold its soul to become a one-and-done basketball factory. To recap: Zion Williamson's father asked Kansas for money, a job and housing, and was told he'd be taken care of. Yet he chose Duke. Let that sink in.

I thought he was the biggest catch in the recruiting class from the outset. Hopefully he will build on this.
He did play well. Gibbs had a number of open looks when he got the ball outside the arc and almost never shot it. Others did the same. When they got the ball, they then started dribbling and looked to pass. SHOOT IT! Especially if you have any sort of percentage at all.
Gibbs needs to develop some NBA-range shooting, as should everyone who can shoot it. They don't guard that closely in college outside the arc. And for gosh sakes, everyone stop going to the hoop against bigger and better players and forcing up shots.
