I take it you geniuses opposed Majerus when he was about to be hired, before the suits decided...

against it because of his lifestyle and propensity to answer the door to his apartment in his Jockeys? If you had a problem with shabby outfits, you should've seen Rick.

Your premise that recruits are writing off ND because Brey doesn't shave or doesn't wear a tie is ridiculous and you, of course, have no evidence that is has affected recruiting. You're simply doing what the buffoons on Da Nation do with respect to Brian Kelly: you make out every single thing about the coach to be bad and twist even the positives into negative things.

There are five dum-dums in the United States who think Steve Alford is a better coach than Mike Brey and we have all five of those atom-splitters on this very forum. That should tell you something. I doubt even Alford's kid agrees with your proposition.

The worst thing for you guys is that over the next two or three weeks, you're probably going to look especially dumb with regards to recruiting and transfers coming into the program.

ND did not even make the CBI this year.

Let's see what happens over the next few weeks.

It might interest you folks to know that aside from his first two jobs, one of which was Manchester College, Steve Alford has been run out of every other job he had. Additionally, at Iowa, he was unwanted not only for losing too much but also for pressuring an alleged rape victim not to report it because it involved one of his players. He's a mediocre coach at best who doesn't have anywhere near the accomplishments of Brey.

You sound like a moron.

I could care less about Alford. Brey is legitimately under attack because of his causal style of coaching it’s a fair criticism which you refuse to aknowledge .

"Couldn't care less," genius.

And how he dresses and his shaving choices are not "coaching" either, Einstein.

Again, you're just like the twits over on ND Nation who use everything Brian Kelly does against him, regardless how they have to contort the evidence, not to mention their own little minds. Just own it.

Widely accepted idiom. Especially in the USA.

Are you playing pro basketball in Europe?

Got that list of players ND would not allow brey to recruit the last 5 years?

The team stunk this past season.

A few of us are having fun ridiculing Brey’s sloppy coaching. His wardrobe is a reflection of his casual attitude towards everything. An attitude he self admits.

Great comment. He gives the impression that he lax on everything coaching basketball. Swarbrick needs to call him in and tell him to get his act together. He is representing ND.

I think Brey is a good coach but I agree he needs to look the part much better.
