The Irish could have won this game, but the same crap that plagued them last year - unable to make shots - doomed them again. But at least, for the most part, they were competitive. I know some will look at the stats and say othewise, but this team has the potential to have a decent year.

They have a chance to improve. Pflueger is Pflueger and will frustrate us and may be a bit slower now too. He keeps plugging and I will give him that much credit. First night though, we will see.
Perimeter shooting remains inconsistent and indecisive. Mooney is the only inside presence. UNC is talented but young, and ND the more experienced team was outplayed. .500 in ACC would be an accomplishment.
