If we lose three seniors and bring in 2 frosh, I believe we will have 10 players. That seems quite thin, especially accounting for injuries. Also, players who never play (common under Brey) have been transferring out. Have we reached the opposite of critical mass?
The staff has been out looking at at least three 2020 wings in the past weeks: Darius Miles (no, not that one), Dillon Jones, and Devin Carter (son of former NBA player, Anthony Carter).
Miles and Carter are rated higher than either of ND's two current commits. Jones plays on one of the best HS teams in the country.
They'll probably get one of those guys or a different wing, and I would expect a grad transfer, too.
