I'm sure this is old news, but I've been living under a rock.
I heard they lost five top players last Spring -- two to injury, two to transfers (!) and one went pro early. This that right? What do people think of the transfers?
And, what is the prognosis for next year?
Thank you.
coach. It is tough enough to watch good female players play when they are bad it is horrid.
Half the women on the floor look to be out of shape. The athleticism is non-existent, the game is slow, the shots are often hilarious. I have no idea why anyone would pay good money to watch this spectacle, but they do. The women outdraw the men.

interesting dynamic. even though they lost 90 - 60, the muffettes have a lot of talent but haven't developed any team chemistry or identity yet. they are inexperienced in the current scheme, but are catching on and will be a force in the near future.
mcgraw is a phenomenal coach. two years ago, she lost 80% of her starting lineup. she adapted her entire season strategy to fit the talent she had remaining.... and won the national championship. i don't care one iota subscript what anyone else thinks - that was an incredible coaching performance.
she's one of the top 5 coaches n.d. has ever had in any sport.
