That was butt ugly basketball by 2 teams that shouldn't make the ncaa tourney. Neither team
can shoot with any consistency. I don't understand why ND walked the ball upcourt in the 2nd half
allowing virginia to setup their halfcourt defense which is the strength of their team.

Each one of them shows up some times but we have no one we can count on. Tonight Mooney clearly choked those free throws and as much as I like the kid he has a hard time under pressure at the foul line. Tripucka's talk worked for a while but not tonight. Goodwin could not handle a team that plays tight defense like that the whole game. Durham may block shots well but he plays poor fundamental defense and despite his thin frame has incredibly slow foot movement on defense. Gibbs missed a three footer when he made a good move to get to the rim. Hubb should have found a better shooter for the last shot than Pflueger. l would have rather had him take one of his off balance shots, he makes those. Laczweski made some inside baskets but was set up a lot for good look 3 pointers and he missed them all and all but one badly.
They gave us numerous chances and we couldn't handle it.
