In his essay today, " Mike Brey's Frosty Moment ", he makes his case for this. Isn't 20 years enough to see the light? Brey has a Sweet Sixteen and two Elite Eights in that time. Not much to show for 20 years. And what about the one-and-done tournament losses to tomato cans, NIT flameouts, and the year when he didn't make any tournament at all.
Brey is a mediocre coach, the last vestige of the nightmarish AD Kevin White. He has become rich at ND's expense. His appearance is that of an old, fat, slovenly, unshaven bum. He should do the honorable thing and resign. His replacement is not open to debate. It is a long overdue slam dunk.
