Former co-captain of this very team. Averaging 14ppg for Sienna. Now - while this might not translate to an equal productivity in the ACC, don't tell me for a moment we couldn't have used him. What happened there?

Chris Doherty is much better than Elijah Burns defensively and overall

Doherty was in a league over his head. Offensively, he was challenged, defensively, not big enough to be a factor. Losing Burns hurt depth wise in a big way.

We could've used both of them...and....

There have been a number of departures in recent years....Doherty, Burns, Harvey, Ryan...is this just the trend indicative of "today's player"? Or is it a sign of problems with the culture in the program.

Our depth has been the Achilles heel of this year's team. Looking ahead....I have major concerns about next year's team. How many more years with the give Brey a pass ?

Brey brags about their culture when all their success was attributable to Connaughton.

Brey and his staff did not play Doherty or Mooney or Ryan their first two years. Brey should start Doherty too

Could've used him, but he's lesser version of Mooney.

I didn't like that he left, but he was never going to get big minutes. Wasn't tall enough to guard bigger pivots and wasn't quick enough to cover small forward-types.

Doherty was very strong and I thought he was great defensively

Then why TF did he get a scholarship offer in the first place?

Brey and his lousy staff did not play Matt Ryan either
