Great game for Laszewski & Durham not so much for the rest of the team. This was a very winnable game but ND's guards could not score. In the last 5 minutes VA. got every key rebound particularly on their offensive end.

The problem with the guards is they are not great athletes, but they do have basketball skills. On
the other side of that, Hubb is athletic but makes too many poor decisions.

Hubb 1-8, Goodwin 2-8, Ryan 0-4 and Wertz 0-2 before he got hurt and left gm. not to return.
Durham finally had a decent scoring game w/19 pts. and Laszewski with 28. Goodwin lead with
7 rebounds which does not speak well for Laszewski or Juwan on the boards. After Wertz's
injury (left ankle) Brey only used 6 players the rest of the way. Ryan replacing Wertz and Djogo
off the bench.
