Ivey was the only choice but was she the right choice?
It's hard enough to follow a legend like Muffet but to bring in a coach with no head coaching experience might really set the program back. You also have to take into consideration how young this team is and the talent compared to what McGraw was working with. I'd have brought in an experienced coach and hoped Niele came back to college basketball. If the new coached panned out great. If not, Niele could have come in on the white horse.

Didn't watch the Syracuse gm. but read the stats. ND scored only 4 pts. in 4th quarter. Sad.

I think it is a more of a reflection about the lack of all around skill of the players. Long
stretches of not scoring means their ball movement is bad.
