Places like Dayton, Xavier, Villanova Gonzaga and Loyola thrive,. Is it simply the administration is better?

You might as well added ND to the failure list considering ND’s money advantage over the others

Interesting how Marquette went out and hired a coach away from Texas. Yes, he was on the hot seat but he has fielded very competitive teams in a very tough Power Bbal conference and was NOT going to be fired soon. ND is staying with a guy who just shrugs his shoulders every time he lets his team collapse or give up.

Meanwhile Gonzaga University, Villanova University, Creighton University, and Loyola University Chicago have all reached the round of 16 and are vying for a national championship.

DePaul has 2 visits to the Final Four. It's last more recent than ND's only one (just barely)...
