June 1st is the deadline to return according to Brey.
He might get drafted in the 1st round, but money isn't enough to survive on if he doesn't make it. If he stays one more year, he would like increase his draft position and signing $$$.
But, he'll leave. Especially, with an empty roster next year
Laszewski will enter his name, but he can pull out of the draft and return to ND.
Should be a lot of turnover in personnel. They need another frontcourt player and another guard. Ryan will be back. Beyond him, all might be gone. Goodwin seems like the other candidate to return. I would be fine with the rest moving on and building a new roster. The freshmen are good and will have to play.

He'll probably play in the NBA next year but unless he ups his game considerably, he won't see many minutes. Specifically, he needs to develop a reliable three-point shot and learn he'll be facing athletes at least as good as he is.
People will forget about Wesley fairly quickly, as a result, because Starling will start from day one. Depth in the backcourt will be a concern if Hubb, Goodwin, and Wertz exit, too. I suspect that two of those three will leave. Brey will have to look for a backcourt transfer at that point or an uncommitted HS senior. There is a senior guard just inside the top 150 who is still unsigned that ND looked at last year, but didn't offer a scholarship. He plays at a high-level prep school that Laszewski attended. Might want to reinitiate contact with him.
Wesley needed to come back, he can't make jumpers or layups but he sure can get to the hoop. I wish him luck. Another year in the weight room would probably make him millions.
handling and just get a year more maturity with the strength of his hands. He does get to the rim very well. I pray he comes back and if Starling is as good as you guys say, well these days the guards are the most important players on the teams, though a big shot blocker is great too. And they must all be able to make foul shots.
