Not scoring in the final 4:30 of the 1'st half and then a 5 minute lapse late in the game allowed Miami to win this game. Each Irish game can remind you of Ground Hog day.

Among other deficiencies of this team the starting PG can't have 8 turnovers.

He's a freaking freshman. Your expectations are absurd.

That is horrific. Yes that's on the players. That's also coaching.

They are killing themselves.

I expect him to learn from his mistakes. He's halfway thru the season and his TO's are escalating.

He's better at driving the baseline than down the lane (at this point) where he gets his pocket picked or shot
blocked all too often. When he bulks up maybe but right now he's forcing it and making the same mistakes.
Unfortunately ND doesn't have any other decent ballhandlers to take the pressure off.

Final: Convicts 73 ND 61. The new green uniforms didn't help.

Taken to school Kyle Neptune who has way more talent at Nova.
It was second str8 win over nova this yr for Rick.I believe announcer said it had been 31 yrs 70-50.
ND totally botched this hire, ND needed Rick

Pitino and Knight were the best coaches during my lifetime, but ND would never hire Pitino.

Other Catholic schools,That's why with their outdated thinking. They keep losing.

I'm unsympathetic to anyone calling for the lowering of standards in anything.

As a country, we now lower standards in virtually every institution. Are we improving or are we declining. ND could sell its soul and allow their athletic programs to recruit dummies who are great at sports or hire a married coach who was banging his mistress in a public restroom, but it won't lead to anything good in the end.

Thread Level: 6

Yes, but as Catholics aren't we supposed to forgive if the person wanted forgiveness and was sorry?

Pitino wanted us and could have been great for us. The best hire we could have made in any sport. He has never been as bad as Urban Meyer, who seems evil in all ways and never seeks to improve.
