LSU and South Carolina in bench clearing fight
LSU can only have 5 players in their first NCAA tourney game. No bench. USC can have one bench player. Horrible scene for women’s basketball

If they meet again in the tourney it will be much watch TV.
Kim Mulkey wishes it had been big on big... that's sending a message to her team.

Someone on South Carolina made fun of Kelly’s fake southern accent?

It was hardly a "bench clearing "fight"
Rough intentional foul by LSU player who then shoved a USC player when confronted but was then pushed to the floor by USC's Cardoso. That was the extent of the "fight."

Yet still much more entertaining and compelling than the actual games.
I didn't realize that your expertise extended to girl's basketball. What do you think of the Clark-Michael Jordan comparison below? Did you chuckle, too? Do you ever chuckle?

So, we've now dropped it down from MJ to old, decrepit me? Here's the better question:
What her vs. high school junior, Curtis Stimpson, from Des Moines? You know what would happen. In fact, that high school team would school the Iowa women's team. If you don't understand this, then you don't understand much about basketball.
And how about her vs. Fran McCaffrey's kid from Iowa City? He still has baby fat. What do you think would happen? How about when he posts her up? How about when both are going for a rebound? How about when she faces up and tries a three? What, would he have to play off her because her great speed would allow her to drive by him for the slam? I get it. Some of you enjoy women's basketball. The only time I weigh in is when someone makes a ridiculous post comparing men's to women's basketball. That like comparing the Cub Scouts to the Green Berets. There is no comparison. Why not just quit doing that? It's a willful delusion.

So she would beat you. That's what I thought. Guess I know basketball.
Women's basketball does not match the skill level of men's basketball. That's a given
Offering a HS proxy player is a bit macho and neanderthal.
Why not set her up against Wilt Chamberlain?
It's a different game. The women compete as hard as they can. I respect their efforts.
You don't.

It's the SEC, no surprise there.
(no message)Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

They corrected that
The players who left the benches are not suspended for the 1st round NCAA game.
Cardoso (South Carolina) was ejected for fighting and will miss the 1st round (which will be against a #16 seed, so it's extremely unlikely it will matter).
