Huge Difference
The rule is you can’t wear such things during the game. No LSU player had anything on during the game.
There are no restrictions before or afterwards. It’s not like they didn’t know the rule, Hidalgo wore hoop earrings all year during warmups; she took them off before tipoff. Hannah and the and coaches screwed up. That she had the stud in all year is no excuse.
The ban is a safety issue.
