Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the constant ball-screen fad that dominates basketball right now, but even with that, there is far too little movement on offense. It's also killing the offense when Allocco gives up open shots, which is frequent. I don't care if it means putting Tae Davis at the point, get Allocco off the ball, coming off screens, ready to shoot. Imes isn't good enough and Mohammed isn't ready. Far too often in the game, it ended up with guys other than Allocco and Shrewsberry taking the perimeter shots. Roper hustled and played tough, which is why he has been getting a lot of minutes, but he should not be shooting the perimeter shot. Ditto Davis. Ditto Imes. J.R. is extremely streaky, too. Right now, Allocco, Shrewsberry, and Certa are the only ones who wouldn't elicit a groan from me when squaring up for threes.
