Lost to Depaul.
Burton was 1-12.
Next game will count.
I watched DePaul last year. He inherited, arguably, the worst program in all power conferences. I saw enormous strides immediately. He did a fantastic job at Butler, bringing about a resurgence. The program has sunk again since he left. His last couple years at OSU weren't good, but that program has been an afterthought for decades and his replacement hasn't been better. His teams score and are solid defensively. He has Indiana ties and he works his ass off recruiting. If Shrews doesn't work out and DePaul keeps improving, I hope he will be considered.
is the insanity we are witnessing under Shrews. Not what I (or ND) expected, unfortunately.
I know it is easy to be critical, but we saw poor spacing, erratic ball movement, lack of defensive toughness and not much fight. We'll see.
them when the screen-setters offer no threat to the defense if left alone when his defender hedges or double-teams the screenee. That's the situation with ND's personnel. ND's bigs are especially unable to present any threat, post-screen. Maybe Sundra can step up, but I know Njie and probably Towt will not be threats.
I think it will take a really big season from Haralson to change much of this.
