Al McGuire. He would tell you something was going to happen and by God it would.

I hated Al as a coach. But I came to revere him later as a coach and especially as an announcer.

His coaching battles with Digger were epic. I smiled from ear to ear when he won his NC.

Nobody like him ever was.
