This is tragic.
These poor kids who are so unathletic. I wish them well, but when athletes are in their face, goodnight Lucy.

It’s been a long wait. Would really love to see a talent upgrade. I believe we all appreciate the effort, but imho we need more talented players.

Recruit athletes.
I said the same when Brey was coach. With most of the guys ND gets, the choice is between a highly-skilled player who lacks athleticism, versus a guy who is raw, but is athletic. Under Brey and under Shrews, the former has been the standard. That needs to change. We can't go into season after season so far behind the quickness and leaping ability of opponents. Even average opponents. There are numerous players every year rated in that 150-300 range nationally who are athletic and turn into good college players. They have higher ceilings.
