Shrews needs to start Zackery and put Haralson off the ball.
What the hell does he have to lose at the point. Zackery is the fastest player on the team. If Shrews insists on continuing with the same offensive sets, put those two on one side of the floor and let Haralson try to establish himself in the low post or on the wings off of down screens. Make it easier for your best scorer to be put in scoring positions. It also puts two of your three best athletes on the floor, or all three when Koehler out there.

Probably zero chance. He's been reluctant to put in Zackery. Since there is also zero chance that
ND will cut Shrews loose, I hope he reconsiders a number of things the second half of the season and this off-season. I hope the offense is completely revamped. I hope he focuses recruiting more on signing good athletes. Perhaps most importantly, I hope the Prez, the AD, Pat Garrity and Shrews get together and conclude that ND will not be competitive in basketball if it neglects the Portal. Shaka Smart and Marquette have gone down this same road and are posting similarly awful results. Against good opponents, the disparity in strength/brawn and athleticism is striking. This is like going back to the MacLeod days, except those guys were better-coached, if even less talented.
