this team. A player can be one pass off the ball defensively, and the offensive player will routinely still have an uncontested three. It's remarkable. We saw that tonight. SMU lit ND up with all those open looks. It's part lack of awareness/communication, and part lack of hustle. To compound things, SMU was hot from range and ND switched to a matchup zone for a little while. Should I call out some of the guys through the years, from Keith Friel to Braeden Shrewsberry who had career games against Boeheim's matchup zone? I'd be interested in hearing what the thinking was in switching to a matchup zone.

One other thing: if nothing else, there needs to a shakeup of the coaching staff. Those guys are contributing to this mess.
