With or without Shrews, it's another total rebuild. My guess is that the incoming freshmen are still coming because their father is the strength and conditioning coach. Add the two Shrewsberrys, Imes, and Ahneman (I think Ahneman wants to be at ND, regardless). That would make six scholarship players, including Sanderson and Solongo.

There's no reason remaining to retain Shrewsberry now.
His time at ND has been a complete and total failure.
I posted this earlier in the season that this would be the logical outcome. He recruited those....
players, so what's the point of a reboot with the same results or worse. He won't get near the same caliber of players in a new recruitment cycle and may even lose those that he has for 2026
