I would love to see the split in ND NIL budgets (per athlete) between football and basketball.

I's also wager that our basketball NIL budget isn't even 5% of Michigan's.

College sports is now down to who will spend the most for talent.

and if it doesn't change, our decent to a basketball mid-major will continue.

Your move Pete.

Investments must be made based on expected returns.

Historically, football far out earns basketball.

It looks like Indiana has figured this out.

Football is king. Wise choice to fund football. But Bball should self-fund

We can self fund ND hoops.

Do like 4 shamrock series games a year…

ND vs St John’s in MSG on President’s weekend

ND vs Marquette in Chicago United Center on MLK day

ND vs UCLA (in Staples or Vegas)

ND vs Nova in Philly

ND has the alumni & subway alums & fan base to support this. Make it an event sell tickets and raise money to pour back into the program to buy a roster.

The answer to this question is in your fans’ pockets. Give them a product worth supporting.

The time is now, make it happen!

(The roundup option for card swipes at the bookstore and local places ND faithful frequent the funds raised would go towards NIL)

BTW, I’m of the opinion that all merch sold at the bookstore should be NIL funds.

Just my 2 cents
