He's gotta win 14 games this year to be remotely valid.

If they only win 5 conference games, few of the problems will have been fixed.
I suspect the criteria for retaining him will be:
- Establishment of a consistent offensive identity suited to the personnel
- Finishing games without glaring mishaps
- Appropriate game and post-game behavior
- Development of Brady Koehler
- Player retention after the season is over. ND has no interest in a program that has all-new players every year
-Locating transfers and HS recruits who fit ND but can compete at the ACC level. Brey was consistently able to find lesser-rated recruits who turned into Big East/ACC players. Shrews has to demonstrate that he can do this.
