Hell of a group and probably the best overall set of early enrollees Notre Dame has had across the board. All are 4-star top 200 type recruits.
My hopes for Holmes are sky high, same for Brock Wright
I think Holmes has a Leveon Bell type skill set.
Deion Sanders said Wright was like baby Gronk.

Holmes is more like CJ Prosise than Bell
The staff plans on using him in much the same way. Out of the backfield, in the passing game, etc. He's a bigger guy but he can fly. Pair Holmes with a back like Tony Jones Jr that's a little bowling ball type of back and you have a heck of a combo.
I know you know how much the Steelers use Bell in the passing game
I don't see Holmes having the explosion of Prosise and I see Holmes being more of a natural receiver than Prosise. Really he's a blend of Prosise in terms of size and running style and Theo Riddick in terms of versatility and receiving skills. I think Bell is a mix of all of that.
Bell is a more physical back though
I don't see Holmes as that kind of back. The staff has specifically sold him on a Prosise type role.
