Urban Meyer: Notre Dame wannabe

On December 13, 2008, Urban Meyer told a Florida radio station: " (Notre Dame)...is still my dream job; that hasn't changed." So, no matter how much ESPN's Herbie insisted today that OSU was Urban's dream job, it's not true. Urban pleaded with the ND administration to ease admissions policies on at least six players per year, but ND refused. Urban did not want to be hampered by admissions restrictions, so he went the way of the football factories; even though, he was such a good coach, that he could have reached the top at ND with what he had to work with--and that success would have brought in better recruits.
His time at Florida brought two national championships, along with a plethora of players on the police blotter. Aaron Hernandez was the poster child for this out of control culture.
Next, he won another national championship at OSU. QB Cardale Jones, who led the team to the 2014 national championship, said that he didn't come to OSU to go to class, but to play football. Such is the culture at football factories. Urban took the shady path to fame and fortune.
He could have had both, and have done it the right way, if he followed his heart and chosen ND, his dream school.

"... and have done it the right way" Urban has proven, he doesn't know how to do it the "right" way.

ND as a Whole, Players, Fans, Students, etc. are lucky that it never happened.
I was extremely disappointed when he chose Florida.
Now, thank God that POS did.
