I think there has to be better landing spots for BW, fully realizing he originally committed there..I would think James FRanklin is committed to Tommy Stevens, who has been patiently awaiting his turn..in addition, SEAN Clifford is a redshirt soph, with reportedly natural leadership skills..There has to be more BETTER fits for BW to start..

There are also 2 QBs who enrolled early.

This wouldn’t make any sense to me.

I will be surprised if he ends up at PSU.

That was my thought also. That is a crowded position right now.

He would have a leg up as far as experience, but like you stated, they seem to be looking for Stevens to take the lead. He could be walking into a situation similar to what Zaire got into.

Wimbush is a much, much better player than Zaire.

He'll be exactly like Everett Golson, best case.

Regardless if he can't hit the short and med routes more consistently, he won't play anywhere.

Uhm, thanks. I didn't claim that he wasn't.

I'm pointing out that the situation is similar. While there will be some competition no matter where he ends up, I would think that, unless he is clearly better, he would steer away from a place where there is someone that has been groomed to take over. He's only getting one chance to find a place where he can play.

Zaire made that mistake and I and several other posters pointed out at the time that it seemed an odd choice.
