Several news accounts of this today. If he leaves, I understand, but I would be disappointed. I think he helped maximize the potential of both Adams and Williams, and have heard that he is a solid recruiter.

Most people would look at Denson's recruiting differently. Those were 2 high 4* guys he had successfully recruited to ND.
He's signed six running backs in four classes:
#245 CJ Holmes
#325 Tony Jones
#379 Kyren Williams
#609 Jahmir Smith
#778 Deon McIntosh
#1199 C'Bo Flemister
All three stars save for Holmes, and he was borderline as a four star. One top 250 player in four years, and that includes Stepp. It's the worst recruited position on the team by far. That being said, it's also one of the best coached positions on the team, so he makes up for his lack of recruiting with outstanding coaching. It really surprises me he isn't better, because it seems like he'd be excellent. But, the results are the results.
