McGregor is the 87th player overall and will likely keep rising, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up a five star. About a month ago he was close to a lock to Michigan, he's from Port Huron, Michigan. Things took a big turn when he visited Notre Dame with Rylie Mills on April 5th, those two have become close during the process. Everything I've heard since was positive for Notre Dame, but not necessarily definitive. He visited Florida this weekend, and just announced he'd be announcing on Friday. I guess it could be Florida based on the timing, but that'd be pretty out of the blue. With Tyree announcing Thursday, and possibly McGregor Friday, could be a huge week recruiting wise.
In my estimation, Florida is out of it.
It feels this is going to end up in Michigans favor, but I think ND has a better chance than most think.
OneFootDown writer thinks ND is going to come in with the upset, and I hope he is right... but it just feels like he is going home and go to Michigan.
BM is an exceptional player and is going to be a dominant force for whomever team he chooses.
This would be the icing on the cake, with Tyree announcing (we hope) for ND Thursday.
If they were to announce for ND in back to back days, you could argue it was the most successful week in Notre Dame recruiting history.
