So, I’m in a bar in State College, Pa....and
I notice a framed ND jersey on the wall. It’s Adidas, so not recent or ancient. It’s number 80. The autograph looks like possibly Irv Smith, but I seem to remember him as maybe 84. The pic with it looks like a TE.
Bartender had no idea.
Any idea who this jersey may have belonged to?

Turns out the owner is a big collector. There is Mohammed Ali, Elvis, and lots of good sports memorabilia here. PJ. Houligans at the Ramada.

I suppose since he was born in PA that could be it. You can see his autograph on a pic wearing his Under Armor Jersey. Doesn’t look much like “Irv Smith” but whatever.
