Heard an interesting story about the 2014 UL/ND game.

A co-worker who went to that game said after the game was over (with UL winning when Kyle Brindza missed a game-tying FG) some UL fans tore down the "Here Come the Irish" banner at Zahm Hall.

I didn't go that game, but one of my friends did. He said he didn't hear anything about the banner but said one of the back up UL OL was hooting & hollering, running across the field & gave the student section the finger while the ND players were trying to sing the Alma Mater.

I really hope ND runs up the score as much as possible Monday night.

You will enjoy this game. We are a matchup nightmare for them.

On both lines they will not be able to compete. I will not be surprised if we win by six tds.

Yeah, but that's the norm for them.

Speaking of which, I can't begin to tell you the sense of satisfaction I got from the sad looks of the Gameday crew after ND "upset" Michigan in 2018.

Fowler looked like someone shot his dog.

I was at that game in 2014 and I was honestly disgusted by the Louisville fanbase. I was unfortunate enough to be surrounded mostly by Louisville fans during the game and it was nothing but consistent drinking (smuggled in bourbon), smoking cigs, and telling us to sit the f@&k down whenever ND did something well.

After the game when ND was singing the alma mater, the Louisville band and fans took it upon themselves to try and out sing the ND faithful, which they easily accomplished. I never had an opinion of their fanbase before then but that game really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I hope ND crushes them.

Amazing for how many ushers there are on game day, how little they actually do.

Also, it seems like they let fans of the visiting team get away with a lot more than the ND fans in attendance.

sounds just like a Bobby Petrino team.
