Lots of people pronounce it that way and most announcers are bad
It's telling that you just can't handle a very common mispronunciation when it happens to leave the mouth of one of the very few women announcing games, yet can handle all the horrific work of hundreds of guys who are just terrible at the very same job.
Pure coincidence, surely.

And it was the name of the team, and she said it 500 times. I was bound to notice.
It is telling that you resort to accusations of sexism when there is no basis for them. I can't imagine what you would have said if Beth happened to have darker skin. You do a nice job of putting people into boxes.
