From the sounds of it he was having it throughout the game.

He was an analyst at ESPN at that time and not coaching.

I recognized him immediately, but never told him of my association with Notre Dame. He was cordial enough and always said hello to me. I also remember that the amount of weight he could push on the pec deck was pretty impressive.
