Fuck Michigan.
teams that run the option which is very difficult to defend because it creates true one on one defense, is a great equalizer. Why don't more teams do it, because the QB takes a beating and it offers little benefit to future pro players. It is a great offense for the teams looking to spring an upset but it is not good over the long run.
when we sat in the south end zone facing an icy wind and watched Navy come to score time and time again without ever being stopped. ND scored at will too...until the last play. No turnovers and no negative plays is a pretty strong plan to win a football game against anyone. Don't look for Michigan to schedule a service academy again any time in the next half century....too tough for them.
that losing fumbles and throwing interceptions is a great plan for losing.
Sooners should have lost that game, it went into overtime. Army can cause problems for almost anyone. This isn't a surprise...

Harvaugh's finding out it isn't his dad's Amy, I mean Army..,
On to the fray.
Fight on to victory
For that's the fearless Army way.

as a former artillery battery XO in Vietnam and father to a former ND athlete....I put Michigan at the bottom of the barrel as far as respect. They were among the very first in line to cheat and have been doing it with regularity for 120 years or so. I would rather it be ND giving them yet another embarrassing loss....but the brothers in arms from the Hudson will do for today. They may not win this game, but they have once again embarrassed the self vaunted mighty Wolverines in the big house today.
Don't get me wrong. I hate them, and I put them near the bottom of the barrel as far as respect because of their fan base...which is a similar quality to that of Ohio State.
Of a game a few years ago where Navy almost beat Ohio State. You didn’t see Navy on their schedule after that. Hoping Army takes out Michigan makes us look better by playing these service academies every year. We know they are pushovers and now Michigan knows as well.

You would be right in today's world...but check the facts. My statement is based on fact 120 years ago. They were also a leader in creating a slush fund at least a decade prior to Illinois getting penalized for copying them as well as Purdue who also operated an Illegal slush fund at the time. Most recent are the Fab Five scandal and Rodriquez breaking practice limit rules from day one of his tenure. At Michigan, the consummate "Michigan Man" is bred to take advantage of any way win...and not by working harder to become more adept at your sport than your opponent. Shortcuts are the norm.
Michigan may or may not have been the first to cheat, but they were among the first. It is documented.

They fucking suck.
who played football like a much smarter team than the tiny Blue.....at least for a half. They are not bigger, stronger, faster, or more skilled....but once again prove you don't have to be to win....just competent enough.
