Level 1
Phil Jurkovec has the height to see downfield and a cannon arm to throw deep passes against UGA

And you know this how?

O'Malley talked about how well Jurkovec was throwing and it is on UTUBE
I try to follow O'Malley and his practice observations

Height and arm strength are verified. Decision making and accuracy are unproven.

Sounds about right. I don't know why I let the annual "backup QB is better" discussion bother me.

Phil is skittish right now.
Even more so than Book. NM is a key game because Jurko needs to get in a game, get thumped, make a few mistakes, and pick himself back up.

Definitely. Needs game experience in case Book is injured.
Book is a gutsy kid, but he takes some hard hits.
I hope he is not seriously hurt. But Phil has to play to reach his potential.

That article is over a year old.
And what else would his high school coach say?

I would like to see Book and Jerkovic morphed into one.
One can only throw the deep ball and the other can only throw short or intermediate. I still miss Clausen. ND hasn't had an elite QB since him.

It would be extremely disappointing if he doesn’t get to play at least a quarter. And it would be...
best if some of that comes with the first team offense.
I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.-

Do you recall how Kiser looked before the UVA game?
