Will we see anything innovative from the Irish in this game or will it be the same without surprises

Kelly has never been one to change the team's MO. If we are going to have a chance to win this game we'll have to do something to surprise them and, hopefully get a few breaks in the turnover dept and, in addition, play tough relatively error free football

You might see some 3TE sets, or 2RB sets with Davis going in motion.

Not necessarily “innovative”—but not a staple of the ND offense in recent years.

And if the surprises don't work you guys will be all over him. That said I expect 2 to 3 "unusual"

I expect a few wrinkles on offense, but not much different on D. Maybe...

a few plays added for guys like Lenzy and Davis. Maybe start McKinley outside and move Finke back to the slot. We can finally use 2 TE sets too. On D I expect to see mostly JOK, Bauer and Bilal at LB. Also, getting Hamilton and Crawford on the field at the same time more often.

I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.

Plays shows a lack of confidence in your normal scheme to win. However, I think they are definitely called for in tonight’s game. We will need some shock & awe to pull off a win.

Based on history I would think not. But I’m just hopeful after so many beat downs he might learn.
