They are a power running team. Their scheme makes picking up short yardage easier.
Kelly ball isn’t that scheme. He’s a throw first spread scheme.
I get that, but we should still have some better packages for short yardage.

They do in short yardage that tickles your fancy?

My favorite thing they do is that they advance the ball beyond the line of scrimmage.
They pack it in, and put 3 in the backfield, two blockers for the runner, and they push forward. They don't do shotgun, and they don't do read-option / delayed runs on 4th and 1.
