Any thoughts on the league and the games?

Personally I enjoyed watching it.

Do they still allow nicknames on jerseys?

Saw a picture. The NY team should not be playing in MetLife Stadium. Should've picked a more appropriately-sized venue to start at.

It was nice to see a lot of familiar faces playing again.

I watched the DC game on Saturday for a half. Execution doesn't seem to be as crisp, and most of the scoring came from blown assignments, but hey, it's the XFL, not the NFL.

The way some of those guys were playing (putting all effort into the game, desperately hoping that some NFL scout sees them) reminds me of the old Scab Football days.

I pretty much despise the NFL so I wish them well.

Nobody's really heard of anything, regarding the time he went missing last year for about a week. They found him at Indian Land, South Carolina, but never gave any further details.

As someone said, “It’s that time of the year, shitty weather and no CFB until the BG game”.

game and the quality was not bad either. Pretty entertaining.

I tried too, but fell asleep during both games. I did like a few things though.

A few good things:
One official to spot the ball

Extra point rules make it interesting (1, 2 or 3 points—no place kicks.)

The officials are mix’s up

From the beginning of Sept. thru to the super bowl is enough football for me.
