He made that one throw across his body to the left while running right. A dart.

What level of competition did he play against?

Thread Level: 4

Private school that played around half its games against public schools 3-6 times its size.

No truth to this, they played 3 public schools during their season

two of them are known for not caring about sports, and the third Poway is insane and known for cheating when it comes to sports.

the rest were small private schools that aren’t known for sports as well.

At the end San Diego is no where as competitive as OC and LA

It's a small school, they play in league with other small private schools, low level league

Yes they did and I guess that's what my post insinuates about this kid.
My glass is half full.
As a fan, wouldn't you rather have a kid coming in to be excited about?

Buchner is faster than PJ, and he can throw a spiral.

I like everything about the film, as I did about Jurko's film, and Wimbush's film and Zaire's film, etc, etc and so forth. Whether it's the failure to improve from Yr 1 to Yr 2 (Golson, Book) or a failure to take raw players and make tier 1 QBs out of them (Jurko, Wimbush, Zaire), the failure to develop tier 1 QBs is a definite weakness over BK's tenure. And unfortunately, in today's football, we can't get to the promised land of national championships without a tier 1 QB. With that in mind, I'm surprised we hired a TE coach and not a QB coach who can focus on development of that craft.

I understand your point.

If the hire is John McNulty, he has more experience coaching QBs than TEs

It wouldn’t surprise me if there isn’t some realignment in the staff when it is announced.

Yep - he’s a QB coach
