Why no carries last year? Injuries? Doghouse? Talent? Did he play special teams last year?

None of the articles I’ve seen mention why someone that had carries 2 years in a row suddenly had zero.

He did appear on the injured list for several pregame reports that I found

I have no idea what the injury was or to what extent that it had on the entire season. Going into the spring of 2019 he was considered the front runner for the starting job, so to get no carries seems odd without injury being a big reason.
