Hire Dabo Swinney, eliminate any pretense of requiring academics, give players 5 years without requiring grad school, guarantee 5 star skill a starting position as Freshmen, set up a football dorm where they can bring in hookers, let them take all their classes on line, what?

Kids today are under a lot of pressure to stay home - and few want to play in Northern Indiana

As in what will they do when their football career is over?

Keep in mind these kids have been under the impression (many since grade school) that they WILL be playing in the NFL, where they will make millions of dollars that will last for the rest of their life. They don't take in account that only 1% of college football players actually make it to the NFL and even fewer last more than a season or two.

If they did realize this then they would know how important a degree from school like Notre Dame is and how they could still have a very successful career/ life even if their NFL playing days are short or are non-existent.

Swinney/Clemson: Not a single arrest since March 2016. He runs a decent program

I'd take him at ND in a minute.

need like Lou was. Look at the none prop 48’s he and Vinnie brought in. If you go by Hollybulls whining they must have paid cash back then. I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to hear Lou at one of my company’s annual sales meetings. There were about 100 marketing guys in that room during his pep talk and nobody left to pee, cough or move. When it was over you felt like running through a wall! Watch the emotion on the side lines from most of the coaches today, thats not Kelly. As the writer states, they don’t care or know who Rockne was and the last time ND won a NC. They do know when ND was run over in a playoff game or games.

Kelly has had plenty of emotion on the sideline, just TJ Jones, Everett Golson or David Grimes
