I would expect Notre Dame to react to this in some way, and I doubt I'm going to like it.

If we are to believe the many, unconfirmed reports that the NBC deal brings in approx $15M/yr, ND is already well behind every other P5 team. As these deals are renegotiated in the coming years, we will fall further behind.
Live sports content commands a premium. As there are many more bidders today to serve this content (in addition to the usuals - ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, FOX - you now have Amazon, Netflix, Apple, Google, facebook, etc), the money is only going to go up, perhaps dramatically.
Maybe the estimates for the NBC deal are off. Regardless, I doubt ND will sit back and let this disparity go unchecked.
In football, ND can't command conference level amounts when most of the home schedule is dog shit every year.
The ACC falls behind when it comes to TV deals and payouts per school. Notre Dame is only a partial member so they only get part of the money. In 2019, Notre Dame was paid $7.9 million from the ACC deal. Full ACC members were paid $29.5 million each.
For comparison, the Big Ten paid out 54 million per school, the SEC paid 43.1 million per team and the Big 12 paid 33.6 million. These are just the payouts for TV deals and the ACC is closer to the Pac 12 than the Big Ten/SEC.
Notre Dame gets paid $15 million annually from NBC and the $7.9 million from the ACC puts them around $23 million. If you add in the $9.0 million a year from the Under Armour deal, that still puts Notre Dame behind the Big 12 in just TV revenue.
Now Notre Dame football isn't hurting financially, far from it actually. Notre Dame is a private institution and they don't report their financial numbers, but Forbes estimates Notre Dame made $112 million in revenue in 2018. That puts them in the top 10 earners in college football.
I'm thinking we don't receive much of anything from the ACC for football. I do recall seeing that we receive approx $6M as part of our bball membership.
Last year, on any given weekend, most of the matchups were unwatchable.
