Friendlly reminder. Kevin Austin only has 5 catches to his name. Can that qualify as a #1 WR

Friendly reminder, Kyren Williams only had 26 yards to his name before yesterday.

Is anyone arguing that he is a #1 RB right now?

Austin only has 5 receptions to his name because he was suspended last year. If he hadn't been, he would have been Notre Dame's #2 WR last year already.

Friendly reminder: Williams was hyped and never given a chance last year.

Possibly with Austin but it seems like he's been here for 5 years already. I get that he was suspended, but still.

I'm more of a show me before we write articles about being our number 1 for 24 months and he's yet to really see the field.

I'm hopeful he is. But let's see first.

Didn't Fuller have similar numbers?

I don't believe illusions because too much is for real.

Fuller showed flashes every time he touched it. I can't recall a play from Austin, but maybe he is

that good. Kind of hard to judge when he's been here 3 years and hasn't seen the field (I get the suspension, that points to personality).

Thread Level: 4

Exactly. Fuller had 6 career receptions before 2014.

Then he had 76 for 1,094 and 15 TDs in 2014.
