I'd like to say 1st game rustiness.....
But I know better.
At this point, he is what he is.
Anyone thinking they were going to see anything different/improvement from Book needs new glasses.

Lack of touch on the short balls, lack of vision/pocket presence for the deep balls ... defenses
know how much of the field they need to cover to defend him.

His short throws were Favre lazers, but not accurately being stuck into guys pad/guts.
