But the two punts I saw were very short. The second one led to their only TD.

A little, I was hoping he was improved after the first three. Why can't we just find a walk on with

some athletic ability that can kick the shit out of the ball or some non playing lineman who has a strong leg, like the Duke guy? A great punter makes a huge difference. Under Ara we just used to find kickers and punters from other position guys, that punted in high school.

Kind of kidding maybe he will turn out better this year than he was last year. Number 1 punter in high school? I think the pressure factor is big on kickers and punters.

Let's hope we don't have to spend a lot of time talking about the punter.

Don't want to worry just want another weapon who can pin opponents and change field position.

He made a great place lay on the fake, punts were inconsistent but showed a lot of potential, IMO.

Got it, just like all of us; we`re always concerned about any facet of the ND kicking game.

Here were his 6 punts on the day. Looks like the last 2 were the problem.

FWIW, he is a true Sophomore.

He just needs to be more consistent. He averaged 43.8 with a long of 53.

That was on 6 punts. I didn't look up his stats from last year, but hopefully it was just being rusty.

I believe reports are he isn’t a booming punter, but has a long hang time.

That hang time is key imo. You don’t want them to have an opportunity to return. Looks the hit Pryor got in the 1st quarter.
