Lest you forget, the year before Lou kind of piled it on, Coughlin in the BC game and I think

Coughlin worked his team toward that goal of getting his revenge. Lou tried an onside kick near the end of that game with about a 35 point lead, the previous year. Their QB Glen Foley hated ND and was such an ass hole even his teammates wherever he played couldn't stand him. He had a career game against us and we still would have beaten him if number 47 holds on to an easy interception.

That said I think this team whips them. 23 and 24 will never let a team suffer a letdown as won't number 12. Our team has a ton of good emotional talented players 87 has it as a freshman too. The line of course is less showy but do show it in a different way.

It wasn't an onside kick, it was a fake punt.

Lou said after the game that he was trying to give future opponents, Penn state and USC, something to have to worry about defending.

What BS, that to me was one of the only lowlights of Lou's career. Fake punt or onside kick.

Lea's defenses have shown a great ability to remain strong against inferior talent. I trust in them

I don't disagree that it COULD be. This is where coaching really matters, IMO. Get em (re)focused.

Hopefully, no huge distractions---like COVID issues. These guys are smart. They know what's at stake. I hope it does not become one of those play-down-to-your-competition affairs. Phil wants to burn our asses and we should want to show HIS ass who's boss.

Thread Level: 3

Oh c'mon. It's not like BC has ever beaten us after we beat a #1 team at home.

Oh, wait....

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

Not “rated” #6. He’s #6 in passing yardage. He’s #48 in passing efficiency rating.

Per NCAA stats. And Jurkovec is #42 in TQBR (ESPN). Book is ahead of him in both ratings, just fyi.

Disagree! We are on a swagger high and enjoying dominating up front. NC is the game to fear.

You do know that, in the end, Michael shared great guilt about Fredo.

Sure. Just like I feel guilty every time ND pounds our Jesuit brethren at BC.

Why should I care about an alumni that could never gain admission to ND?
