1. How long will Husker fans give their beloved son Scott Frost?
2. Zach Wilson, the sensational BYU QB, is using the headband schtick of old BYU QB Jim McMahon, to promote his school's chances of getting selected for the CFP (Any team-any time-any place).
3. Some suggest that Cincy play BYU to be the Group of Five candidate for the CFP.
4. Three backup QBs explode: Chase Griffin (UCLA); JT Daniels (Georgia); and Cade McNamara (Michigan).
5. Will Cade save Khaki's job?
6. Joey Galloway dissed Nortwestern's team as being a bunch of Reece Davises before the Wisconsin game, but Pat Fitzgerald gave it right back to Joey after the Wisconsin upset.
7. Will Braden Lenzy finally make an impact against UNC?
8. 0-5 Ped State is in a heap of trouble both on and off the field.
9. Ian Book has been great lately. Let's hope he doesn't take his foot off the pedal.

Frost won't lose his job this year, but fan indifference will become a huge problem. What does NU
have to sell besides massive fan support? Not much. Loyal fans can take only so many years of fumble-itis and bonehead penalties.

Re: College football musings:
Navy, Troy, Louisiana Tech, UTSA, Houston, Texas State, Western Kentucky, Boise State, North Bama, and SDST does not qualify you to be in the playoffs. There is not a Power Five program in there, anywhere. Even if they would schedule a PAC 12 program, anyone can get their giggie up for one game. There will be plenty of one loss Power Five programs to choose from. Virus or not, this is a bad precedent if they get in with this powder puff schedule. Is BYU even a Group of Five program?
BYU is an independent, but they try to lump them with the Group of Five.
I don't want to see a G of F team included, and I don't think that they will be. It's just that the talking heads want to be their advocate for the possibility of inclusion.
