BYU - SCREWED. I know they haven’t played anyone so I guess it is warranted. I hope the committee uses this same criteria when evaluating B10 teams.
NW - #8 LOL. I guess the B10 folks at the committee are trying to ensure that one of their weak a$$ teams get into the playoffs. Indiana exposed OSU and NW beat an over ranked Wisconsin who played 2 games before their “show down” in Evanston.
PAC 12 (Oregon) - playing 5-6 games should not even be qualified to be ranked period.
Cinn - #7 at least they will play more than 8 games when said and done. Quality of schedule well that is a joke.
IMO Ala and ND are the only 2 teams that could lose their conference titles and still make playoffs. No one else can say this.

Question is what happens with the following scenario - fla - 11-1 (SEC Champ), Ala 11-1 (SEC runner up), Clem 11-1 (ACC Champ), ND 11-1 (ACC runner up), OSU 8-0 (B10 Champ) - who is left out? I think this is why ND needs to root for a clean sweep by Ala in the SEC and ND needs to win out in the regular season. If this happens I think the ACC gets 2 teams into the playoffs if ND loses the ACCG. If ND wins out and Clemson is eliminated I think the CINN gets in.

Probably depends a lot on how the ACC and SEC champ games go..

If bama loses close and ND loses close, tosu is probably screwed... but if either bama or ND get smoked then tosu is in over the one who got smoked.

Everything is pointing to a showdown w/Bama for the championship

Better yet is Clemson at #3 — A loss in the ACC title game might not be fatal.
