What if Swinney gets what he wished for and the FSU game gets canceled. And what if Miami wins out.

Well, that would put Miami into the ACC game with a better record than Clemson even though Miami lost head to head. That is what Swinney deserves.

So far the game has not been rescheduled but I’m betting it will be.

I thought Dabo wants to play FSU? Did the accuse FSU of ducking him?

to either move the game to Clemson or pay All of Clemson’s traveling expenses. FSU has no incentive to do either.

Clemson would still go in that case.

It doesn’t matter how many wins, if they have the same number of losses the head-to-head means Clemson gets in.

“ The ACC Champion will be decided by a game between the two postseason eligible teams with the highest percentage of wins during all regular season conference competition.”

In my scenario Miami would have the higher winning percentage. Of course my scenario isn’t really all that likely to happen.

There's a caveat CC, if unequal number of conference games played

Then it will be based upon head to head over winning pct. That is as long as the teams in question are withing a game of the conference average of games played

Based on rankings, Clemson would still make the CFP

That's for the ACC Lance. The Committee will still pick final four based upon their own criteria
